That I may Know Him

Most Sunday mornings you will find me in a classroom teaching and leading Sunday School for a beautiful group of godly women. I want to thank them for helping me to "press on". There are days, especially recently, that my heart is not in teaching, reading or studying. I asked them Sunday morning to pray for me as I wrap up one book and move onto our next study, because "quite honestly ladies I just want to quit." Their response was one of love, encouragement and commitment to wrap me in prayer this week. Thank you to these women of God who let me be authentic and transparent encouraging me to press on, rather than living my life according to my heart and feelings which "is deceptive who can know it?"

"...that I may know Him...I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:10a,14

I can relate...and have talked to several people who are in this season as well. Press on...God isn't finished with you yet. He won't forget the plans He has for you.
