I have to say I'm glad it's Friday. It has been cool and rainy here in the northeast. News that our son is now on missions full-time, already logging thousands of miles, seemed to slow the week down to a snail's pace. I trust that God WILL take care of him throwing open my arms heavenward surrendering myself once again to God's loving care. It is not easy having my firstborn and only son serving our country on the other side of the world, but I've trusted God more times than I can count regarding the children He has given me.
So I continue to sing 'I surrender all,
All to Jesus, I surrender;
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
I surrender all, I surrender all,
All to Thee, my blessèd Savior,
I surrender all.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
All to Jesus, I surrender;
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
All to Jesus, I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
All to Jesus I surrender;
Now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!

Love that hymn, Jody! I'm praying for your son.
Wrapped in a mother's love, under the Father's watchful care...
We are continuously praying for him as well. It is a great battle spriritually to trust our children completely to God. I am standing with you sister.
