My Home in The Country

This is the home I grew up in and the farm I roamed, to this day it is a refuge. The farm is a century farm, today probably 125+ years old.

Hello Jody,

How very beautiful, i am jealous! My husband and i have always dreamed of living on some land in the country, we are originally from the midwest (Evansville Ind.) only about 15 min from Kentucky. When living there we would make trips to the country actually more woods than rolling hills and my husband and son would hunt while my daughter and i would take pictures and admire the birds and all the animals. We love the country and it has always been a dream of ours to live in the country someday. If our dream doesn't come true here we can only hope that our mansion in heaven will sits on a hill in the beautiful countryside!

What a lovely family homestead, Jody...you must have many precious memories of that time. Thank you for giving us a peek at it!

HA - my "word verification" below is "tracter!" I know, misspelled - but still - how ironic!
