20/20 Vision

"Then Jehoshaphat was afraid and set his face to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast through all of Judah. And Judah assembled to seek help from the Lord...and Jehoshaphat...said, "O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might...We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you."...And when they began to sing and praise, the Lord set an ambush against the enemy, so that they were routed."
2 Chronicles 20:3-22

This passage is not written out in it's entirety, but is a great one to read thoroughly.
There always seems to be something that takes our eyes off of the Lord. Whether it is unexpected death as in the case of MJ, or marriages that don't work out as in the case of the Gosselin's, or those in political power we don't agree with. Or lost income due to lost jobs and a bad economy or worry over losing a home. There is a lot to worry about and to be fearful of wondering if God is really in control.

I am encouraged greatly by this particular passage. "I do not know what to do, but my eyes are on you( the Lord)..." not my circumstances or the worries and cares of the world.

Keeping my eyes focused.

Jody - I thank you for the verse you shared at the end of your post...it was like I heard bells and whistles! I DON'T know what to do...but HE does!

Thank you for bringing my blessing for the day to light!
