I hope you all have a friend you've had forever. Her mom and mine have been friends since their early elementary years, and are still good friends today. We grew up playing and going to school together, drifted apart for some of our adult years, and it was her shoulder I wept on a few days after my dad passed away. We now get together every time I make my way back to the midwest, picking up where we left off from our last visit. Although not sure I will show up next summer when it's time to make salsa again. Ha! The best part of our friendship? We both love Jesus. It doesn't get any better than that.
